Meet the team

Mike Cothrine
Founder & CEO
Mike Cothrine is a modern day Renaissance man. As a singer/songwriter, business owner, philanthropist, and Health and Wholeness Coach, he continually strives to grow spiritually, mentally, physically, and creatively. He was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and although growing up with limited means, Mike would not change a thing. He believes he was blessed with the most valuable of resources: a loving family instilled with discipline, character, class and integrity. Mike's passion and purpose has always been a love of music and helping people. As a child singing into the head of a vacuum cleaner as a microphone, he wasn't consciously aware of his purpose in life. He wanted everyone to experience pure happiness.
Through love and passion he has found himself at this new beginning with a larger vision. Through his own personal growth, evolutions, and life experiences Mike has been able to help people grow through a business that serves hundreds of people every week. He has sung for a president, graced stages in Europe, performed in front of thousands of people, worked in television and performed voiceovers - all in action to living his passion and surrendering to his purpose.

Angela
Hi! My name is Angela, I moved to San Diego from Louisville, KY in 2017. I moved here to pursue a career in the health and wellness industry in some capacity. I have been a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM since 2017. I am also a Corrective Exercise Specialist & Behavior Change Specialist. All in all, health and wellness is a huge part of my life and I love teaching others how to develop healthy habits to create a long term sustainable lifestyle! Coming from a weight loss background myself, I know how hard it is to begin a fitness journey. I did a lot of trial and error until I realized I needed the help of a fitness professional to truly give me the push I needed to reach the goals I had for myself. I love that at Mike’s Fit Family, we are a team of dedicated fitness professionals to be guides and resources for anyone who is either beginning or continuing a fitness journey!

Montana
Hi, I'm Montana! Having worked in the fitness industry for the past four years, I’ve seen the good and the bad. I’ve found a lot of conflicting and sometimes harmful advice on how to treat my body. I would follow a trend for a while, find it not work, and start over with a new trend. Eventually, I said “Enough!” I wanted to learn the science for myself. Since then I have dedicated myself to researching and teaching health and fitness. Formally educated with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science, I’m a Certified Personal Trainer by the American Council of Exercise, and have a 200 Hour Yoga Teaching Certification on top of it. I’ve worked with every kind of person you can imagine; old, young, disabled, athletes, etc. Through my experience I learned that the best thing to do when it comes to fitness is to find something you enjoy doing. I believe in creating a fun environment that keeps clients coming back for more. The best compliment I get is, "that hour just flew by!"
